Boiler not working - is it freezing outside?

During prolonged periods of extreme cold weather conditions, boiler condensate pipes can freeze, causing your boiler to stop working.

Luckily, this isn't a big problem and it can be easily resolved without the need for an engineer. 

WHAT IS A CONDENSATE PIPE? 

This is the white pipe that comes out at the bottom of your boiler. If you follow the pipe and find where it goes outside, carefully pour hot (not boiling) water over the white pipe. This should defrost any blockage and get you back up and running.
